Double Dump Valve
Key features:
- The DDV consists of an inlet flap gate, an intermediate lock chamber & an outlet flap gate
- Works on gravity discharge
- Used for airlock & drop through applications without losing airlock / vacuum
- Used for applications wherein the material shape, size & properties may not suit a feeder
- Actuation can be pneumatic, hydraulic as well as motorized
- Suited for flakes, straws, cakes, odd shaped materials
- Rubber flaps are designed to work pressure tight upto pressures of 2 Barg
- Can be designed in various sizes & configurations from 100 mm x 100 mm upto 1 m x 1 m.
- Generally designed for square profiles but can also be designed for rectangular profiles
- Inlet & outlet flaps are rubber / polymer lined as per application
- Can be designed to CIP standards as per requirement
